Temple of Pnévma Skýlou
The idea for this project was first inspired by the passing of my dog, Kyoshi. The project was originally one of my first environments but I picked it up again to learn SpeedTree. She was an Akita and the hero asset was modeled after her likeness. The project was done in 7 weeks and all the textures except for some of the foliage are hand painted textures using Photoshop. All of the models except the tree and bushes were done in Maya with the rocks being done in ZBrush.

Breakdown
The visual direction for this project draws heavily from Greek architecture and temples. All the textures except for some of the assets like the trees were hand painted by me in Photoshop.
The design and layout for the project was heavily inspired by the idea of a theme park. I wanted to create another world while still having it set up like a waiting cue. The start of the park would be at the very beginning with the Akita statue and the lines would follow up the small slope through the columns where they would board a ride that goes inside the mountain.
