I was given the task to design and create a robot and the lab around it. This project was to further my modeling skills and compositing skills in Nuke. Everything was modeled inside of Maya and the brought into Nuke for the projection setup and lighting. I used Photoshop to create a more interesting background for the walls.

Character Work
I wanted to create a character that seemed like it was in the middle of getting repaired by the scientist at this lab. I took a lot of inspiration from the game series Fall Out and Legend of Zelda: WindWaker. When the character is fully operational their hands can float and are connected by steams of electricity. To attract more attention to the robot in my environment I wanted to make sure that different patterns on the robot lit up.
